How to buy

As ChildMax is built from personal experience of child illness, we treat customers as real people, so buying couldn’t be easier.

The insurer is rated A (Excellent) Positive Outlook by A.M. Best. The sale of this product is regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and part of FSCS (Financial Services Compensation Scheme) and the FOS (Financial Ombudsman’s Service).

You can buy online or on the phone through our UK call centre. There is no price difference between buying online or over the telephone. All purchases are subject to the individual policy terms and conditions.

Going on-line:

Simply complete the on-line details requested and pay, securely, by credit or debit card. When you complete your purchase, download your certificate of insurance and policy documents and receive an email confirmation.

Using our call centre:

If you prefer buying over the phone please call on 0333 323 0098 during office hours and our team will be happy to assist you. You can also talk to the team through LiveChat. On completion of your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation, with links to your documents. Please ask the ChildMax team member if you wish to receive the documents by post.

We will refund your premium in full if within fourteen (14) days of purchasing this Policy you decide that it does not meet your needs, provided that you have already paid the premium in full and have not reported or intend to report a claim. After the fourteen (14) days has expired, you may cancel the Policy but will not receive a refund.

Please take care to provide us with accurate information; once the policy is purchased, changes to the Policy Certificate information cannot normally be made until the policy is renewed.
